I just published a new lens in the Christmas series: Deck the Hall. A decorating page, focusing on the evergreen wreaths and swag that we like to decorate every possible room and surface with during the holiday season.The chance to bring the sights and smells of the garden indoors prevents us from thinking how very strange it is that we cut boughs from the evergreens and berried bushes to attach to our bannisters and mantles.
Living greens do not last long- they are like cut flowers in their need for misting, and water. But to the rescue are an array of artificial pine fir, and berried branches.
